Signed as shown lower left I.J. Deen and dated 1921

Info from online search: "Ira J. Deen (Pennsylvania 1874 - 1952) was a visual historian who used oil and watercolors to record the many faces of nature. The artist was a founder and treasurer of the Harrisburg Sketch Club, a forerunner of the Art Association of Harrisburg. He encouraged the city's artists to exhibit their works and shows were held in the old State Museum basement. When guests purchased a painting at Mr. Deen's studio, he often insisted on giving them another painting as a gift."

Condition: some toning to the matte and scuffs to the frame as shown, otherwise ready to hang or display.

Dimensions: frame dimensions of about 14 1/8" wide by 10 5/8" high.
