This is number 20 out of an addition of 75. It depicts two stag's running down a rocky mountain. The bronze was produced by him in 1981. It is solid bronze mounted on a wooden base and is quite heavy. It has an excellent patina and finish and has been well taken care of. Clark Bronson was born 1939 in Utah, Montana. He started is bronze sculpting career in 1969 and is considered one of the best wildlife sculptures in his field. He does his bronzes of big game subjects in an academic style. This bronze with such a low edition mark would be a prize in anyone's collection of bronzes.
It is in the early production of this piece. The piece measures approximately at the base 15"W x 13"H x 9"D. See less
