Beautiful vintage rug in a design called "Blomsteräng" by Swedish Textile designer Anna Greta Sjöqvist. A geometric pattern in blue, yellow and green sits against a brown background with a black and white border. Very good vintage condition with age appropriate wear to the fringes, some which have come undone.
Anna Greta Sjöqvist was a Swedish textile designer from the south of Sweden that ran her won weaving studio during the 1950-60s. Her rug designs are today sought out for their beautiful color compositions and geometric designs showing organic shapes.
