The juxtaposition of the symmetry and whimsy in the medallions creates a subtle appreciation of their colorway variations, a fabulous pallet of burgundy red, blue and beige-brown hues warmly recapturing the traditional ram’s horn and star motifs (widely believed to represent protection and happiness respectively among each of their many historic interpretations). This tribal geometry is also rarely seen with such an open field, drawing the eye to the soothing texture and chic of the piece while complementing the classic intricacy and movement of the meandering borders as well.
