circa 1940’s Liberty’s London Omersa brown leather hand dyed Hippos representing a mother and calf in the extra small display … Read more circa 1940’s Liberty’s London Omersa brown leather hand dyed Hippos representing a mother and calf in the extra small display size These were originally designed as footstools in the medium to extra large sizes, but now a days they are used for pure decoration, this pair were solely designed for that use being much smaller We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, the condition is very good for the age, the leather has a wonderful patina throughout, this pair just screams period patina and charm Dimensions Height:- 9.5cm & 8cm Width:- 31cm & 16.5cm Depth:- 15cm & 6cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
