Fiesole, Florence, Italy, 1970s. This is a large mushroom table lamp in opaline glass and baby blue from Italy. Made somewhere in the 1970s by a company from Fiesole, Florence. This sizeable table lamp is a distinct design, following the fashionable mushroom shape. Interestingly the part in opaline glass is also curved and ends up underneath the top shade, opposed to the more common use of a straight stem and an overlapping shade. Therefore, this lamp has a distinct mushroom appearance, but is interesting to look at in his own right. The opaline glass makes sure this lamp gives warm and evenly distributed light. Great vintage condition. Signed with a sticker on the inside.
