The structure of the lamp is made of brass, with few signs of wear and light oxidation which suggest a certain age and authenticity, probably dating back to around the 1970s. The slanted rectangular shade is mounted on a side pivot that allows you to aim the light precisely, making it ideal for desks or reading. The ignition chain is typical of the vintage design and functions as a pull switch. The overall design is sober but functional, with an aesthetic that recalls work or office lamps from the 1940s and 1960s.
Original and repaired electrical system, working with metal lamp holder and 14; the lamp is entirely made of brass apart from the base which is in gold-plated iron.
