This elegant mid-century modern coffee table was manufactured by Drevotvar in former Czechoslovakia during the 1960s–70s. It features an oval walnut veneer top with a warm, expressive grain, supported by a sculptural turned wood column and a heavy, white-painted steel tulip base. The design evokes the iconic aesthetic of Eero Saarinen’s Tulip collection, blending Scandinavian influences with organic modernism.
The table has been fully restored. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
