This desk … Read more Very nice Drop Front country style writing desk with nice interior from the late Victorian period about 1880. This desk is made of pine and has three hand dovetailed drawers below the drop front secretary top. The top opens down to form the writing surface. The piece has inset panels, with fine carved dental molding around them. It retains a nice old finish in a mellow pine. The piece also has the original key and the original wooden pulls on it. The piece measures 38"W x 20"D x 46"H. The writing surface is approx. 28" height It would be nice in any country kitchen or setting room or parlor. It really could be used in any part of the home because of its great size. See less
