Early 1900's Antique Roll Top Desk
Looking for a Roll Top Desk that's a bit more unusual? Something with a bit of history & secrecy? Something not so 'normal' and not 'just like all the others'?? Well, this is it!
49" H x 54" W x 28 3/4: D
Roll top and drawers work great, especially for the age.
Right Side- 1 Deep Bottom Drawer, 2 smaller drawers, 1 pull out shelf
Left Side - 4 drawers & 1 pull out shelf
Center - 1 pull out drawer with built in spots for bills, money, coins, a bell, a coin tray, & secret pulls underneath the drawer to release other drawers. Note - must pull far left one to get center drawer to open!
Top - 2 drawers, 2 pencil holder shelves, small compartments & side longer compartments. Note - Roll Top MUST be in full UP position for some bottom side drawers to open.
NEEDS a KEY(s). Center drawer is in unlocked position.. Roll Top is in locked position & will be shipped with the center hole plugged to prevent an undesired accidental locking until a key can be fitted.
This item has been in the same family for over 100 years. The lucky buyer will definitely have something very unique with this one. Many different combinations of drawer position, top position, secret pulls under center drawer need to be in place for certain (not all) drawers to open.
It can be partially disassembled for shipment. Left Drawer segment/Right Drawer segment, Roll Top segment, bottom back & bottom center rail link.
