Wonderful black glaze globular lamp, originally a ceramic vase but has been fitted for electrical wiring. Dark glaze pottery with some imperfections, two naturally occurring bumps in the glaze from the kiln process and one piece of missing glaze from transportation damage. The top knob for securing lamp shades is missing.
Missing area is very small and is located at the back of the lamp, just above where the wooden base has been intentionally broken to make room for the cord to pass through. So ideally this part of the lamp would be facing the wall. Ceramic mounted on wooden Chinese base. Lamp has been tested and works, the shade pictured is not included in the sale.
Good condition (areas of damage are included in photos).
