This elegant pendant lamp, attributed to Carlo Scarpa for Venini, dates back to the 1940s and embodies the harmonious encounter between the art of Murano glass and the essentiality of architectural design. The spherical diffuser is handcrafted with the sophisticated reticello technique, which intertwines two sets of blown glass rods in opposite directions, creating a refined net design. The result is an ethereal and delicate texture, which softens the light with extraordinary elegance. The patinated brass support and rosette offer a warm and material contrast to the lightness of the glass, enhancing the sculptural aspect of the composition.
