Five mirropane crystal mirrored … Read more Prismar table lamp by trassinelli, mazzoni & studio a.r.d.i.t.i. For nucleo (luigi) sormani. Dated around 1972. Five mirropane crystal mirrored sides, chrome hardware and one individual bulb create an optical "infinity" effect. Measures; 32 x 32 x 35 cm. The items manufactured by sormani (arosio, como, italy), of renowned designers such as claudio salocchi, carlo de carli, fabrizio cocchia, studio a.r.d.i.t.i., luigi sormani, de pas, d'urbino, lomazzi and many others. Other precious pieces of that golden era include tableware by gio ponti, handmade woollen tapestry by ewald kroener, and other items by achille castiglioni, piero gatti and other renowned creators of the time. Many of the sormani original designs have, until recently, been hosted in the permanent collections of museums such as moma, nyc and are periodically on temporary design displays in the whole world.
