Charming and colourful mid c20th framed oil painting on panel of pink tinged white blossom in a ceramic pot set against a striking blue and orange red background. Signed and dated 1952 by German born Swedish artist Ernst Soderberg 1889-1967 a graphic artist who was known for landscapes, portraits and architectural studies and interiors. He studied under Carl Wilhelmson and Birger Simonsson and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in the 1920s and went on to study in Europe. Framed in a silver frame 76 x 64cm [canvas 62 x 50cm ] This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
