A striking 1993 vintage still life oil on canvas painting by artist S. Lewis, titled “Stripe Cloth.” This large-scale composition features a bold and graphic interpretation of a tabletop scene, rendered in a soft yet vibrant palette of mauve, plum, cream, and blue. The composition includes a bowl of fruit, a knife and peach on a plate, stacked books, a vase with deep red leaves, and a mirrored background, all set against a striped cloth that lends the piece its title.
