Manufactured by arteluce in … Read more Early and very rare extandable counterweight suspension designed by gino sarfatti in 1938, mod. No. 2007. Manufactured by arteluce in the 1930-1940s. Large gold outside, ivory inside laquered diffuser with a perforated chrome counter-cup, the brass counterweight is filled with hunter buckshots. The pulley is made of wood. The fabric cable is renewed.

He founded 1939 his company arteluce, which brought lighting into the 20th century combining innovative ideas with groundbreaking design. Arteluce won numerous prizes and awards including the compasso d’oro in 1954 and 1955.

measures: diameter 23.6” in. (60 cm), height 43 - 98" in. (extendable 110 - 250 cm).
lighting: takes one large edison e27/e26 base screw bulbs.
wattage: we recommend up to 60w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v.
condition: very good vintage condition with minor, hardly visible scratches and one very small dent.

wiring: the lamp has been tested with us american light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
