Set on Chicago's famous RUSH STREET, he illustrates the city's Cafe Scene in full swing.

Each pictured "character" has its own individual expression and gesture. One feels the strain of heavy trays in the stance of the server, deep concentration on the face of the hostess.

This is a very large painting; the canvas, unframed measures 40" x 54." The painting has recently been reframed with a more modern 3" frame. See less
