Maison Jansen was a Paris based interior decoration office founded in 1880 by Dutch born Jean-Henri Jansen. Maison Jansen was considered the premiere design firm, combining traditional furnishings with new trends serving a global clientele. Maison Jansen closed in 1989.
This pair of rare palm tree floor lamps is attributed to Maison Jansen. They are 20th century masterpieces with intricately crafted brass palm fronds and brass tree trunk. The cubed planter base consists of patinated, gilt brass and black glass panels. Truly a design classic that remains avant garde and exciting in any installation.
