This original oil painting by the Dutch artist Dick de Vries (1948- ) portrays a charming Dutch village bustling with activity.
In the center of the scene stands a large, two-story house of typical Dutch architecture, its intricate details meticulously rendered. Surrounding the house, figures of peasants dressed in traditional costumes are depicted in various groups, engaged in conversation.
