This listing is for a gorgeous set of 2 (a pair) pre-owned Jacques Garcia-designed “Diderot” table lamps (Zonca Lighting in Italy), in gilt bronze. Each lamp features a conical gilt bronze and pleated ivory silk lampshade, an octagonal base, a twisted column decorated with an ornamental motif of tulip and ball and a 72-inch electrical cord with inline switch.
Light source: E27 screw bulb with a maximum power of 42W, or an incandescent bulb that does not exceed the 42W maximum power rating of the socket. (Bulb not included in the sale.)
Measurements of each table lamp:
Height: 27 inches
Column width: one (1) inch
Base: 5 x 5 inches
Lampshade diameter: 10 inches
Lampshade height: 11 inches
Specific notes on pre-owned condition:
Overall, the Diderot table lamps are in very good condition, with some wear to base on one lamp and lesser wear on the other, and some wear at the top of one conical lampshade enclosure and hardly any on the other (see last four photos showing slight wear). Inline switches work perfectly. Silk, ivory on exterior and gold on interior, within gilt bronze lampshades might be dusty.
