After receiving his master's degree in fine arts from the University of Southern California in 1967, Wisconsin artist James Bruch (1942-2023) began his career designing for Montgomery Ward in Chicago and later at the prestigious Leo Burnett advertising company.
Upon retirement in 1999, Bruch returned to his art school roots and reignited his passion for creating colorful abstract art. However, he never exhibited or sold any of his work throughout his life. This piece is in good condition, with minor paint loss and abrasions to the frame edges.
