Peter Keil, once known as "the wild man of Berlin," is known for his bright colors and imaginative abstract shapes. Primarily a painter, this artist has ventured into figural pieces on occasion. This sculpture still embodies the bold and energetic style typical of Keil paintings. It is in good original condition and ready for display.
While we have no certificate of authenticity, this piece is consistent with Keil's iconic style and is clearly signed in Keil's typical manner. It was acquired from a large collection of his works being auctioned on his estate's behalf.
