Brass desk box in the manner of Sarreid, made by the Italian design company; "B&OI" Bank & Office Interiors, Inc. No. 42257, Made in Italy label on the bottom as well as engraved on the bottom. The photos show the brass condition, excellent considering its age.
Measures 5 inches square and the top fits securely, this was very well made.
