Guntermann." Wilhelm GUNTERMANN was a painter born in 1887 and died in 1976, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, who, together with many other painters from this academy, joined the Hollerbach painters' colony, which failed in its attempt to create a new and innovative style. The painting is very large and has a beautiful wooden frame, presumably made of oak. Our research shows that this artist has achieved numerous auction results, the highest of which is a painting very similar to ours, slightly smaller, simpler, and with fewer subjects depicted, sold for €1,125 excluding auction fees of 25-30%.
