This set of 4 Tectonia chairs from Asko with pure minimalist lines come in very good condition. In the Bauhaus style, square and round shapes are brought together in the frames, which only show slight signs of wear on the feet. The beautiful brown tone of the frames harmonizes perfectly with the petrol-colored velor covers of the chairs. The covers were probably renewed a few years ago.
The Finnish designer Jussi Peippo designed this armchair for Asko Finland in the 60s. Finnish furniture manufacturer Asko was founded in 1919 and made a name for itself in the 1960s and 1970s by collaborating with high-profile designers and delivering innovative design.
