This is, … Read more This pendant lamp, the LS-120, consists of four layers of hand-blown opaline glass from the islands of Murano. This is, so far known, the only opaline version of this lamp.
The different parts have different diameters and can be placed in each other. Since they can only be assembled in one specific way to fit, we can see that every piece is unique. The juxtaposition of all these different parts creates a cascading shape. Through this, Nason achieved a nice diffusing effect when lit.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
