José Luís Pequeno was born in Bilbao. He studied advertising graphics, industrial design, painting and sculpture. He worked in several workshops and collaborates on public buildings with important architects. He has participated in many national and international exhibitions, receiving numerous awards and recognitions. Currently we can find his works exhibited in museums and public and private collections.
The sculpture of José Luís Pequeno is characterized by dynamism, simplicity and elegance. It is inspired by the shapes of nature and the animal kingdom, offering us its very particular vision. The lightness of his birds, birds and doves also stands out, in which his designs fly with total freedom.
