Made in the third quarter of the 20th century by semi-nomadic Luri tribes, it features high-quality hand-spun sheep’s wool, cotton warp threads, and traditional rib weaving with pointed weft reversals. The precisely woven diamond patterns and jagged-edged ornaments create a dynamic, almost radiant effect. A remarkable piece of traditional weaving art in excellent, nearly unused condition. See less
