It is signed and dated 2017. She chooses the frames for her artworks.

Sandra specializes in portraits of humans and animals, as well as landscapes of the Vermont countryside. Her success rests on her Impressionistic brush strokes, her painterly use of color, and how she captures the natural light of Vermont. She has successful shows at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester every year, and exhibits in local galleries. In this fine 8" x 10" painting, she uses lavender and lightened sienna to set off the bold dark color of the cows.

Sandra Eames studied art in Los Angeles, Paris, and Florence. She spends many happy days in her rural art studio painting peoples' portraits on commission, and animals and landscapes out of love. Her animal portraits always capture the spirit and personality of her subjects. See less
