A stunning Rhodochrosite box retailed by the venerable Leopoldo Menegetti of Florence/ Firenze. The box probably dates to the 1950’s and is from a collection of 4 beautiful rare stone boxes we have for sale out of an estate collection. This box features wonderful graining and great contrasting colors.
The box has a brass inner hinge. It’s in generally good condition although there are a few corner nicks and some edge roughness. Please see the detailed photos. This box still has the original Menegetti label attached
