A very charming and highly collectable piece, I have never seen this timber patina before, it is exquisite, its similar to Curly Heart Pine which is a soft wood, this is 100% hard wood and really quite substantial, it comes complete with the original key and lock which are a bit temperamental but work none the less, the base has four large waterfall sliding shelves, they are classed as waterfall because as you descend, the drawers become larger, inside you have seven original oversized solid brass coat hooks
We have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there may be age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect from an antique piece
