This new addition to “Rez Kilim” is a play of pile and flat weave together, as seen in the sky blue field and gray border. Additionally, this is the first addition to this collection to use vegetable dye—a classic technique that ages beautifully. The way such intricate elements achieve such an elegant look exemplifies the very forgiving, soft presence of this line.
This construction further enjoys a heavier body with greater durability than other handmade rugs or Kilims.
