A fine custom made Louis XV or Rococo style table.
With a gessoed and gilt wooden base in the high Rococo style with carved "C" and "S" scroll legs & stretcher and a shaped top.
The wood gilded with a high polish gold leaf over a gessoed and painted salmon base. It has a distressed, "intentionally aged" surface.
With a conforming shaped limestone top.
Simply a wonderful table!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The edges have intentionally distressed finish with popped gesso and light scrapping. There is a checking or drying crack to the foot (which may or may not be intentional.)
The limestone top has a small smile at the front and has a slight wiggle. (Can be remedied with a small pad/felt.) There are light variations in color and natural inclusions throughout as well as a lightly discolored ring from a vase to the top . Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
