Pierre Cardin founded his fashion house in 1950 and was known for his avant-garde style and Space Age designs. His designs incorporated geometric shapes and motifs and in 1954, he created the bubble dress. During the 1970s, Cardin was known as the top menswear designer of the time. His designs influenced the Beatle's tailor, Dougie Millings, who copied Cardin's designs for the group in 1963. Actor, Walton Goggins (The White Lotus, Justified, Sons of Anarchy, etc) listed a Pierre Cardin backgammon set as one of his essential items on the GQ 10 Essentials show.
