Jeremy Plotkin Wong (they/them) is a sculpture artist based in Chicago and a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Their interdisciplinary practice merges performance with sculptural forms, creating works that are both playful and incisive.
Wong's sculptures have been exhibited through Chicago Sculpture International and other Midwest platforms. Their work often uses abstraction to engage in social commentary, inviting viewers to explore themes of identity, perception, and power through imaginative forms and interactive elements.
Blending material experimentation with conceptual depth, Wong approaches artmaking as a mode of dialogue—between artist, object, and audience.
Wong will be pursuing their MFA in Ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art starting in the fall of 2025.
