The Berber rugs of Azilal origin come from the High Atlas area and are famous for the white background and the softness of the wool, associated with the use of cotton and other fibers to define the designs.
These very often, in addition to following the symbolism of the region, are the result of the artistic inspiration of the woman who created them. For this reason, each rug can be considered a unique and non-reproducible art object.
The materials of Azilal Berber rugs are always undyed wool, with a natural colored background and dark brown or natural black lines. The dimensions on average are slightly smaller than those typical of Beni Ourain rugs.
