A refined and highly collectible set of six Danish dining chairs in solid Oregon pine, designed by the renowned architectural duo Knud Friis & Elmar Moltke Nielsen. Known for their soft, organic interpretation of Brutalist architecture, the designers translate the same principles here into furniture of clarity, warmth, and structural honesty.

The chairs are characterized by a striking pine grain, sculpted backrests, and clearly articulated joinery, all contributing to a calm yet architectural presence. Newly handwoven papercord seats enhance both comfort and visual lightness, while the gently shaped seats and backrests make the chairs unusually comfortable for extended dining.

All six chairs are presented in very good vintage condition, retaining a beautifully coloured solid pine surface. They have received new papercord seats and a light, respectful refinish, preserving the original patina and material integrity.

Previously attributed to Rainer Daumiller due to stylistic similarities, these chairs stand as strong examples of Scandinavian soft and minimalist Brutalism from the 1970s.
