We are proud to offer you this beautiful Art Deco Double Bed dating to circa 1930. The headboard and footboard have beautiful bookpaged figured walnut veneers which are a gorgeous warm colour. Both headboard and footboard have wonderful quilted blonde maple panels to each side. The contrast in colour is simply beautiful. The bed slots together with original vono irons to provide a firm support for the slatted base. We provide a slatted base custom made for this particular bed which is constructed of solid pine planks. Just pop a mattress on top of this and it is ready to use (mattress not included).
The bed has its makers label situated on the inside of the footboard, C.W.S Ltd, cabinet factory, London.
