This extraordinary floor lamp from the 1970s is an elegant expression of Italian sculptural design, and is attributed to Albano Poli for Poliarte, a renowned Veronese manufacturer active between the 1960s and 1980s. Made of blown glass with a cannulated surface and translucent green hues, this vertical column lamp diffuses a soft, enveloping light thanks to the presence of two internal light points. The textured glass enhances the luminous effect and gives the object an identity that is as decorative as it is functional, perfect for residential environments or high-end interior design projects. The base is unobtrusive and understated, while the electric cord with switch retains the original vintage aesthetic. Very good condition, with slight traces of time consistent with age. Working electrical system. This lamp stands out as an iconic piece for art glass enthusiasts, Italian design collectors and professionals looking for statement elements for residential or contract projects. Albano Poli (b. 1935) is an Italian artist and designer, known for his work in stained glass, sculpture and lighting design. Founder of the Poliarte studio in Verona, he has been able to fuse the ancient art of glass with a contemporary aesthetic, producing luminous furnishings that are both works of art and functional objects. His creations, signed or attributed, are now highly sought after in the international vintage design market. Poliarte was one of the most innovative companies in post-World War II Italy in the field of decorative lighting. Active mainly between the 1960s and 1980s, she was able to combine the Murano glassmaking tradition with formal and material experimentation. His lamps, often made to an exclusive design by Albano Poli, stand out for their creative use of glass, wrought iron, and light, still proving fascinating today for their sculptural strength and craftsmanship. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
