Created by myself John Braun.Legs and top are all one consistent piece. Made from a stump cut just above the ground and then inverted. The top grain which is from just above the root crown has a beautiful burl like swirl pattern. Butterfly in lays are installed for structural purposes to prevent cracking as the wood is air dried over long periods of time. Any existing cracks are filled with a high-quality resin with installed copper in lays. Rubio monocoat oil finish. Table top purposely, has a slight upward contour from one end to the other See less
