from the french red marble base, octagonal faceted vase supports start, which support the body of the pau ferro wooden furniture, completely inlaid with excellent seabed craftsmanship by piero del grande
the cabinet is generously sized and has 4 doors.
opaline top i was.
undisputed italian masterpiece of the time, under the glass of the top it bears the dmm (dassi mobili moderni) label.

publication: irene de guttry and maria paola maino, - the italian furniture of the forties and fifties (editori laterza 1992), p. 144.
the marble of the base has a crease in the centre, the result of a restoration carried out.
overall in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and ready for use.
