Dating back to the early 1900s, originally this large farmhouse vessel would have been used for holding wine or olive oil. The amphora features a discreet swirl pattern hand painted in black around the top edge making it a unique piece. The clay has a wonderful earthy quality with its raw surface texture and that patina brought about by years of daily use.
