Vincenzo Caprile (1856-1936) is a painter from Naples: after studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, and under the influence of the Resina school (community of Italian painters which was formed from the 1860s in the region of Herculaneum, and advocating painting in truth, of the moment) he painted numerous landscapes, genre scenes and portraits of people from people.
He will experience a certain success during his lifetime thanks to his views of Venice and Naples.
Today some of his works are presented in museums in Milan, Bari, Florence\.
