This 20" x 16" painting was depicted when I found a skunk deceased outside of my house. We had a … Read more This 20" x 16" painting was depicted when I found a skunk deceased outside of my house. We had a mama with babies living under our garden shed earlier in the season. I moved the skunk and adorned her with flowers, and took a picture. I wanted this painting to celebrate her life and honor her. I love the way the flowers turned out in this piece. It is all done in many layers of acrylic along with other mixed media like colored pencil and carandache crayon on a stretched canvas. It comes with the sides painted a deep blue and ready to hang as is. I have been making abstract and playful wildlife art my whole art career. See less
