Lovely decorative boxes with warm patina that would make the perfect finishing touch to your coffee table, bookcase or console table. The boxes are handcrafted from a bamboo leaf stitched together with a rattan lacing. The top and bottom are hand-cut mulberry wood.
CIRCA: Smaller is believed to be Late 19th Century to early 20th century and larger is most likely mid to late 20th Century
MAKER'S MARK: None present, attributed to the Thai Akha Hill Tribe

- Both boxes are solid, sturdy with nothing loose or missing. There is no odor associated with either box. All over … moreBoth boxes are solid, sturdy with nothing loose or missing. There is no odor associated with either box. All over warm patina to both boxes. A couple of small white marks on the larger of the two (see last photo for example). Both oval shaped boxes are made of 2 sections which fit together perfectly. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos if needed. less
