This listing features an Italian Art Deco coffee table with beveled edges, metal finishings, and a mirror base. Art Deco-style tables were popular in the 1930s and 1940s for their elegant design and historical significance. The base of the table is central decorative element and will elevate any living space.
Art Deco originates from the 1920s Paris, taking its name from a 1925 art exhibition "Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes", where French artisans and designers reimagined traditional design in a whole new modern style. Art Deco-style placed emphasis on geometric symmetrical lines, and forms that are similar to the Cubism art movement.
