1970’s Chinoiserie coffee table from John Widdicomb. Features finely detailed incised design with depictions of butterflies, phoenix birds and pagodas in a landscape to imitate Chinese lacquer. Accented with red, yellow and green painted detail. With manufacturer’s tag to underside, dated 1978. Please see photo of this table used recently in a project by noted Charleston designer Chelsea Handegan. Also for those who have asked about the color, UMBER is the best description of the color overall
