Crafted in the Gustavian taste with whimsical trompe l'oeil carved tassels on the legs. The large consoles are constructed with mortise and tenon joinery and supported by turned legs. The thick aprons measure 23.75 inches from the floor. The pine has a desirable faded, distressed patina on the finish. The tables fit together to form a round center table measuring over 4 feet in diameter. Sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a distinctive profile. Sold as a pair.
