Unusual Pair of Neoclassical Lamps in the Form of a Lyre with Silver Mounts on Silver Oval Fluted Bases.
A striking pair of Neoclassical table lamps crafted in the form of classical lyres, mounted with silver-toned accents and resting on oval fluted bases. Likely produced in the late 20th century, these lamps blend refined architectural form with a romantic, antiquity-inspired aesthetic.
Each lamp features a sculptural body shaped like a stylized lyre, with deeply carved acanthus scrolls, reeded support rods, and decorative rosettes. The wood has a warm, antiqued finish that mimics aged fruitwood, beautifully complemented by patinated silver metal mounts and fluting along the base.
