Antique English bed steps from the 19th century made out of oak wood which has been well preserved and lacquered. The ladder is decorated with two fully carved lions on each side, possibly representing Chinese lions. The library ladder is carved all around with amazing details and has a total of 2 steps. On the steps there is a rug that has probably been added at a alter stage, with metal studs.
A true collectors item which will be an eye catcher for your interior. This item with all its details is a great example of the creativity and beauty of the 19th century art and craftsmanship.
In good antique condition with signs from use and time. Due to its protective wax layer, it has remained in exquisite condition throughout the years. It might have cracks from time overall but is stable.
